What is BAA/BABA?
Buy American Act (BAA)
Compliant products meet federal procurement guidelines (currently 65% US components and labor) involved in substantial transformation of the product.
Build America, Buy America (BABA)
Requires that all iron, steel, construction materials, and manufactured products used in federally funded infrastructure projects be produced in the U.S.
BAA and BABA Options
Look for BAA and BABA as an option on our specification sheet configurators. In nearly every instance, BABA includes BAA, but not the other way around.
